Contributing to the Community
Internet Gold believes that businesses share responsibility
to use their strengths to contribute to society,
utilizing their assets, skills and access
to make a difference in the world.
Internet Gold raises funds for a variety of worthwhile
organizations.
In addition, it donates funds, equipment,
services -- and sometimes personnel -- to a selected
number of "adopted" causes and institutions.
Following are just a few of the organizations
which Internet Gold actively supports:

Computers from the Heart
– a joint project of Smile-Internet Gold, Microsoft, Israel’s Ministry of Education and the project’s founder. This is an exceptional program which aims to rehabilitate “teenagers at risk” by teaching them to refurbish old computers, to personally install them in the homes of needy families and to train family members in their use. In the process, the teenagers are reconnected to society at large, and inculcated with values of work, generosity and environmentalism.
Initiated as a modest project in Alfei Menashe, this exceptional program is now being replicated in neighborhoods throughout Israel.

Matan
-the Israeli affiliate of United Way International and the International Youth Foundation. Internet Gold supports Matan in its efforts to assist needy children and teenagers, families in distress, the elderly and handicapped, the chronically ill and others. Part of this support is an employee fund-raising campaign, with Internet Gold matching the amounts raised. In collaboration with Matan and the Israel chapter of Rotary International, Internet Gold is setting up free Internet lounges in senior citizens' centers in disadvantaged areas, contributing computer equipment, infrastructure and Internet connections and organizing volunteers to teach the elderly to use the Internet.
Matan and the Environment - as part of our environmental approach, Internet Gold has established recycling points within company facilities for employee use.

 Society
for the Preservation of Nature in Israel – Internet
Gold helps the society operate a number of Internet and other activities,
including joint operation and promotion of its Website and recycling of
newspapers.

 A
Window for Tomorrow – This project focuses on providing
disadvantaged children with computers and teaching them computer basics.
Internet Gold provides free Internet service accounts to these children and
teaches them Internet and computer skills.

 Schneider
Children’s Hospital – Internet Gold has adopted
Israel's major children's hospital, providing funds and services and organizing
activities to connect sick children to the outside world through the Internet.
As part of this effort, Internet Gold donates Broadband Internet service to the
hospital.

 Soldiers’
Welfare Association – Protecting Israel can be
dangerous, and for the country’s soldiers stationed far from home, it can be
lonely as well. Addressing this critical need, Internet Gold established
Internet stands in remotely stationed army units. The company then conducts
Internet courses for soldiers and shows them how to keep in touch with family
and friends through the Internet.

 Israel
Management Center – This organization sponsors
courses and seminars for executives. Internet Gold conducts tutorials and
seminars on Internet-related topics for the Center’s members and helps
implement its projects.

 Blood
Donation – Blood supplies are chronically low and needs
are often strong and immediate. Internet Gold is conducting a blood drive
within the company and is proud that a substantial number of its employees are
participating in this important cause.
